“Art is a means by which I express my appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.  Beauty may be found in landscapes, architecture, human and animal figures, and activities.  A favorite subject of mine is musicians, and environments involving pleasurable activities, such as dining, drinking and dancing.  Since childhood I have had a deep appreciation for a variety of music, including blues, rock, country,  jazz and classical.  As a child I often listened to radio station WLAC in Nashville, TN, where all the great blues musicians were featured.” - Dale Miller
